President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos yesterday evening ahead of a series of high-profile engagements, including the golden jubilee of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
He was received by top Lagos State government officials and senior aides at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at 4.15 pm.
Beyond regional diplomacy, President Tinubu’s visit to Lagos will also focus on showcasing the infrastructural gains of his administration.
He is expected to inaugurate some completed projects such as Section I of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road and the 7th Axial Road.
The President will also perform the ground-breaking of Section II of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a flagship initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity and boosting economic activities across Nigeria’s coastal states.
In addition, Tinubu will carry out the virtual inauguration of many road projects across the North, including the Kano-Kanwar-Danja-Hadejiya Section II Road and the Yakasai-Zalli Road.
He will also flag off the Kano Northern Bypass, Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai Section I, Dabai-Kafur-Malumfashi and Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Daya Section III projects.

La présidente Bola Ahmed Tinubu est arrivée à Lagos hier soir avant une série d’engagements de haut niveau, y compris le jubilé doré de la communauté économique des États ouest-africains (Ecowas).
Il a été reçu par les hauts responsables du gouvernement de l’État de Lagos et les assistants supérieurs à l’aile présidentielle de l’aéroport international Murtala Muhammed, Ikeja, à 16 h 15.
Au-delà de la diplomatie régionale, la visite du président Tinubu à Lagos se concentrera également sur la présentation des gains infrastructurels de son administration.
On s’attend à ce qu’il inaugure certains projets achevés tels que la section I de la Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, la route de crédit d’impôt sur les ports de la mer de Lekki et la 7e route axiale.
Le président effectuera également la révolution de la section II de la Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, une initiative phare visant à améliorer la connectivité et à stimuler les activités économiques à travers les États côtiers du Nigéria.
De plus, Tinubu réalisera l’inauguration virtuelle de nombreux projets routiers à travers le nord, y compris la route Kano-Kanwar-Danja-Hadejiya Section II et la route Yakasai-Zalli.
Il dénoncera également le contournement de Kano Northern, Zaria-Hunkuyi-Dabai Section I, Dabai-Kafur-Malumfashi et Malumfashi-Dayi-Yashe-Gidan Mutum Daya Section III Projets.
